Forum Title: Hot hot hot
Global Warming just arrived here in NZ, phew its hot. High 20?s C (in the shade) all this week, hasn?t rained for ages, countryside is brown. Was doing a rare Asphalt Shingle job for a day and a half, tore it off starting at noon (restricted by the owners schedule) sweat was pouring off me, not a breath of wind. Was 28C that day must have been 40C on the roof, couldn't touch the shingles with bare hands, or even shifting my roof jacks they were red hot. After I ate a sandwich at 3pm I felt sick. Drank 3 litres of water. Same yesterday putting the new shingles back on, had to wear gloves, but found it awkward. Shouldn?t complain though, we get enough rain for the other 10 months of the year. Last year was cr_p, year before was a hot one too, got to 30C in the shade a few times
